Board of Directors

Latchkey Child Care & Learning Centre is supported by a volunteer board of directors, and this board is composed of Board Elected Officials who are selected through an application process.

Applications are considered as openings on the Board become available.

Duties of the Board

Our Board members contribute to the overall health, stability and leadership of Latchkey Child Care & Learning Centre in a number of different ways, with responsibilities that include:  

• Trusteeship of business affairs on behalf of its membership
  
• Providing strategic leadership
• Development of strategic goals and priorities
  
• Supporting the establishment of organizational policies
• Acting as ambassadors
• Ensuring effective operational leadership
• Ensuring financial stability
• Contributing without bias
